About me, a Science Writer On Medium
It’s been over four years since I started writing on Medium, covering topics ranging from number theory to quantum mechanics. Talking science with people has always been a passion of mine, and I’ve been doing it for the past 10 years. Now, it’s time for me to share a little bit about myself on this platform.
I am a 24-year-old science enthusiast. I have completed my bachelor’s degree, majoring in Physics, in Nepal, and I’m soon looking forward to embarking on my graduate school journey somewhere in Europe. I have published over 250 articles on this platform. Most of these articles are associated with physics and mathematics, discussing their historical significance. In addition to Medium, there’s another platform where I engage people in science conversations.
I run two mini-blogs on X (previously known as Twitter): one that talks about Physics and its history, and another that shares insights on education, life, and science in general — essentially, thoughts that resonate with the life of Richard Feynman, whom I consider my science idol. The names of my mini-blogs on X are PhysInHistory and ProfFeynman.
As a professional, I have worked as an educator for over seven years, leading science workshops and seminars. I love teaching, so I taught mathematics and science for quite some time before transitioning to full-time blogging. During the initial years, I juggled my job and writing simultaneously, a phase that taught me much about life, struggle, and, most importantly, the value of perseverance.
I’d also like to take this opportunity to thank all 22,000+ people connected with me on this platform and everyone who enjoys reading the content I post. It’s your love and support that have given me so much and continue to motivate me to push the boundaries of science communication (scicomm), a field that isn’t much developed in my country.
Thank you all! 🙏
